In October 2022, we had the honor and privilege to work with the AWS InCommunities team to bring the 2022 AWS Girls Tech Day event to life in Northern Virginia. This was an incredible two-part event that catered to over 400 young women in middle school and high school. The program kicked off with a panel discussion led by successful women who are leaders in their field. The middle school girls then spent the day exploring the different fields of STEAM by participating in interactive workshops on topics such as forensic science, AI and coding. The young women in high school focused on building their brand and preparing for the real world with workshops that focused on resume writing, professional headshots and group discussions focused on mental health, career aspirations and more..
