Frances & Brian’s Backyard Micro Wedding
I helped plan my friend's wedding and made it a reality during the pandemic!
Frances and Brian got engaged towards the end of 2018 and began planning their dream wedding with all of their family and friends in mind for the Fall of 2020. When the pandemic happened in early March, they hoped their wedding in October would still happen. But, unfortunately, their wedding location closed and they were forced to postpone their big day to the following year.
Frances and I have been good friends for several years and I was over the moon when she reached out to know more about our wedding planning and live streaming services. They realized they couldn’t wait any longer to start their lives as newlyweds. So we met with Frances and Brian virtually to understand their needs and create the perfect wedding package just for them!
They decided to keep their original wedding date and have an intimate wedding ceremony in their backyard. With less than 6 weeks to their wedding day, we worked on the wedding design, wedding invitations, vendor research, and guest communication. Our in-house graphic designer created the lovely wedding invitation designs and they were made in both English and Spanish to accommodate all of their guests attending virtually.
On the day of their wedding, there was a torrential downpour. Luckily, we planned for this and came prepared with tents. The space was transformed with the rich fall florals that adorned the wedding arch. Despite the rain, the intimate ceremony was set for 12 in-person guests and 60+ guests who watched remotely on Zoom. The emotional ceremony brought tears to everyone watching and we were so fortunate to witness such a beautiful union!
We are so grateful they chose us to plan and livestream their wedding ceremony! And, we are so happy that Frances and Brian were able to include their extended family and friends in their celebration. We wish them so many years of love and happiness!
